Russet Tweed Jacket & Waistcoat

(Excl. VAT): £329.17 Incl. VAT: £395.00

Availability: Made to Order

Quick Overview

The Russet Tweed jacket and waistcoat is one to stand out from the crowd.

The cloth for this jacket is beautifully woven in Scotland, and made from 100% wool.

It is a modern style of jacket, that still carries a traditional feel as it is similar in design to a traditional black jacket; crail cuffs, twisted epaulettes and embellished with buttons.

The Russet red colour of the jacket is bold and unique, and the imitation staghorn buttons perfectly complement the tones.

A red lining is used inside the jacket and back of the waistcoat to make it a fully cohesive look.

The jacket should always be kept open, ensuring that the details of the waistcoat are visible.

Waist Take a firm (not tight) measurement at the navel. This is normally 2 inches higher than your hip bone.

Chest Size Take a loose measurement under the arms and over the shoulder blades.

Height The most important measurement! Ensure this is correct.

Kilt Length Measure from the top of the hip bone to the middle of the knee cap. You will need someone to help you take this measurement.

Pleats
Sett Pattern - This is the most common way to have your kilt made. This is where the tartan on the front mirrors the tartan on the back.
Line Pattern - This is more of a military style where if there is a prominent line in the tartan this is seen down every pleat on the back of the kilt.
