Quick Overview

The Lomond Grey Tweed Package is a stylishly sophisticated outfit option.

The Lomond Grey Tweed jacket is made from a light grey tweed in a classic shape. The jacket is extremely minimalistic in its features, but the simplicity of the jacket means that it is easy to pair with your outfit. As the jacket and waistcoat is light grey in colour, it is best paired with a grey or a lighter tartan for a more cohesive overall look.

In our Lomond Grey Tweed Package, you will receive:

-Lomond Grey Tweed jacket and waistcoat
-8-yard kilt
-Kilt pin
-Semi-dress sporran with chain strap
-Matching tartan flashes
-Leather ghillie brogues
-Replica sgian dubh
-Kilt hose

The Lomond Grey Tweed jacket and waistcoat is handcrafted in Scotland from 150z Arrochar Wool. This classic jacket features modern suit buttons, single-button cuffs and front, as well as a 5 button waistcoat. The jacket should always be worn open so that the detailing on the waistcoat is visible.

All of our kilts are made in Scotland.

In this Lomond Grey Tweed Package, an 8-yard machine-stitched kilt is included. The kilt is machine stitched, with some features finished by hand. There are 3 sizing straps: 2 around the waist, and 1 around the hips for better shaping round the body - adding to the ‘swing’ of the pleats. There are two belt loops at the back of the kilt.

Upgrade to a Fully Handmade Kilt.

We have the option to get your kilt fully handmade, meaning that every stitch is completely hand done. A handmade kilt is a lifetime investment, which can be passed down to future generations. This type of kilt can be completely re-made to fit a new waist measurement. All of the stitches can be unpicked back to the 8 yards of material and then remade to a new size.

Please note that some tartans have an additional charge due to the cloth costing more to produce. Read More...

Waist Take a firm (not tight) measurement at the navel. This is normally 2 inches higher than your hip bone.

Chest Size Take a loose measurement under the arms and over the shoulder blades.

Height The most important measurement! Ensure this is correct.

Kilt Length Measure from the top of the hip bone to the middle of the knee cap. You will need someone to help you take this measurement.

Pleats
Sett Pattern - This is the most common way to have your kilt made. This is where the tartan on the front mirrors the tartan on the back.
Line Pattern - This is more of a military style where if there is a prominent line in the tartan this is seen down every pleat on the back of the kilt.
