The classic Prince Charlie kilt jacket is a short cut jacket with tails at the back and is suitable for black tie events.

As the most traditional out of all of our kilt jackets, its timeless design is heavily embellished with chrome buttons, twisted epaulettes, satin lapels, and is made from soft feel, extra-durable 19oz Barathea wool.

This Prince Charlie jacket comes with a 5-button waistcoat and is a modern variation of the traditional Prince Charlie with 3-button waistcoat. This means that either a straight tie or cravat can be worn with the outfit, as well as the traditional bow tie.

There is an option to upgrade to antique or black buttons to add another contemporary twist to your outfit.

The kilt jacket should always be left open, this ensures that you can see the details on the waistcoat.

Our domestic orders are dispatched with either Royal Mail or DPD and our International orders are dispatched by Royal Mail’s International Services, DPD or UPS. Alternatively, you can collect your purchase from one of our stores at no extra cost.

All of our kilts, trews, jackets and outfits are expertly made-to-order by our master kiltmakers and this process takes time. Depending on the time of year, the expected lead time is between 12 and 14 weeks for a full highlandwear outfit.

We always strive to get your items to you as quickly as possible but please keep this lead time in mind when ordering.

Once you have placed your order our team will be in touch with you to confirm expected delivery timeframes. They will also keep you informed of any changes to these timeframes prior to your delivery.
