MacGregor and MacDuff Kiltmakers are pleased to offer an Interest Free Credit purchase option for both in store and online purchases
Split the cost of your purchase by paying in installments over 12 months or less.
In Store Interest Free Credit
We will ask you to pay a deposit on your purchase.
You can decide on the amount but we do ask for a minimum of £200 for Kilt outfits and £100 for Kilt or Jacket only purchases.
The remaining balance can then be paid up on a monthly basis over a maximum of 12 months (it can be less if you wish).
Once the monthly payment amount and deposit has been agreed upon we will ask for your credit card details and get you to sign up to our Credit Agreement.
Every month on the first of the month we will take a payment of the agreed amount from your account until such time as your balance has been paid. If you wish to pay your balance off earlier simply get in touch and we can arrange this for you.
This is only available on In-Store purchases as it requires you to be available to sign the Credit Agreement.

Online Interest Free Credit
For customers living in the UK, we offer the option to pay on finance on all products over £300 or when your total basket comes to over £300.
Simply add the items you want to your basket and proceed to checkout.
In the Payment Method options at checkout select Finance (V12 Retail Finance) and then the option which you require.
You will then be asked to complete an online application. The application form is quick and easy to complete (approx. 3 minutes) and you’ll have the finance decision in minutes 24 hours a day. You do not need to wait for paperwork to be posted to you. Some applications may take longer to process. If for any reason you’re not given an instant decision you will be notified as part of the application process and also by e-mail, with a follow up e-mail as soon as a decision is confirmed.
Will I Qualify For Finance?
To qualify for finance you must meet the following criteria:
Must be 18 or older.
You, or your partner is in permanent paid employment (over 16 hours per week), retired (receiving a pension), in receipt of a disability benefit or self-employed.
You have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years and will continue their residency in the UK.
Have a debit or credit card in your name and registered to their address (you’ll need this to match the address used to complete the identity verification).
Have a UK bank or building society current account capable of accepting direct debits.
Will V12 Perform A Credit Check?
Yes. As part of a responsible lending policy, a credit check will be performed during the automated decision making process.
Do I Need To Pay A Deposit?
Yes, we ask for a 25% deposit when placing your order.
How Do I Repay The Loan?
Your monthly repayments are collected by direct debit.

Can I Cancel The Credit Arrangement If I Change My Mind?
You have the right under section 66A of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason before the end of 14 days (beginning with the day after the day on which the agreement is made or, if later, the date on which we will tell you that we have signed the agreement). If you wish to withdraw you must give the finance company notice in writing or by telephone or email. The name of your finance company will be clearly shown on your credit agreement (see contact details below). Please note that if you do give notice of withdrawal, you must repay the full amount of the credit without delay and in any event by no later than 30 days after giving notice of withdrawal. If you want to settle the loan after the 14 day cooling off period, you may do so but you will also have to pay interest accrued from the date the agreement was made until the date you repay it. If you wish to pay by debit card please telephone the finance company. If you wish to pay by cheque please send it by first class post to the finance company. Please allow 10 working days from the day you post the cheque to allow time to process the payment.

Are There Any Other Charges?
If you fail to pay any amount you owe under the Credit Agreement by the date it is due, the finance company may charge you interest on that amount, they may also levy additional fees – details of these can be found in your copy of the credit agreement which is available to you as part of the application process and also supplied to you as part of the welcome pack you will receive following acceptance of finance.
