What tartan to wear?

The question of what tartan to wear is often raised. If you have an obvious Scottish name then you should wear this.

If you do not have a clan tartan, then you can either wear a neutral tartan such as The Flower of Scotland or Scotland Forever tartan. New designs of neutral tartans are on the increase so there is a wide variety of choice when it comes to colours and designs.

There are also several district and country tartans. If you don't have a clan tartan of your own you may want to consider one of these.
