The Prince Charlie Jacket & Vest kilt outfit package is our most traditional outfit, making it perfect for formal events.

The Jacket & Vest

Made from Barrathea wool, the budget jacket comes with chrome buttons, crail cuffs, knotted epaulettes, tails at the back of the jacket and a 3 button vest. The jacket does not fasten at the front so that the buttons of the vest can be seen.

The Kilt

The kilt, which is made in Scotland, is made from 5 yards of 100% worsted wool. The kilt is fully machine stitched with 2 sizing straps around the waist. There are 2 belts loops at the back of the kilt and 2 hanging loops. This kilt does not allow for any alterations.

The Accessories

Also included in this package are leather brogues with long laces, black or cream kilt hose, block colour flashes flashes, safety sgian dubh, kilt pin and a dress sporran.

  1. Sorry there are currently no reviews for this product

Waist Take a firm (not tight) measurement at the navel. This is normally 2 inches higher than your hip bone.

Chest Size Take a loose measurement under the arms and over the shoulder blades.

Height The most important measurement! Ensure this is correct.

Kilt Length Measure from the top of the hip bone to the middle of the knee cap. You will need someone to help you take this measurement.

Pleats
Sett Pattern - This is the most common way to have your kilt made. This is where the tartan on the front mirrors the tartan on the back.
Line Pattern - This is more of a military style where if there is a prominent line in the tartan this is seen down every pleat on the back of the kilt.
