Our Tailor Made jackets and waistcoats are made by our very own tailor to your perfect size. We have total quality control over the jackets which helps us provide a tailoring service that is unrivalled throughout Europe.
You will meet with our tailor to ensure the measurements are tailor made to your exact size, creating a perfectly fitting jacket.
Every jacket that we supply is freshly made to order. Not one of our Tailor Made jackets are made abroad and all materials used by our tailor are of the highest standard, so you can be assured that your new jacket and waistcoat will offer excellent value for money.
The Argyll is a day wear jacket made from 19oz Barrathea Wool and handmade in Scotland. It can be worn with a straight tie for casual events or a bow tie for formal events. The 5 button waistcoat also gives the option to wear a ruche/cravat tie.
The jacket is designed with a few distinctive features such as, plain cloth epaulettes on each shoulder, chrome buttons on the shoulders, pockets and across cuffs, as well as one button on the front of the jacket.
We have 5 of our own Kiltmakers so we can offer our customer a fully handmade kilt which has become a rare service.
Made from 100% worsted wool, our handmade kilts have a full 8 yards of heavyweight* material with the kilt being fully hand-stitched including the pleats. Additionally, they are made with 3 sizing straps, 2 around the waist and 1 around the hips for better shaping round the body which adds to the 'swing' of the pleats, 2 belt loops at the back of the kilt and 2 hanging loops.
Our fully handmade kilts can be 're-made' in the future which means the kilt can stay in your family for generations. 'Re-making' allows us to open the kilt back up into 8 yards of material and completely re-size it to fit another set of measurements. An extremely worthwhile investment.
Also included are durable leather brogues with long laces, kilt hose, flashes to match the kilt along with replica sgian dubh and kilt pin, both with thistle design as well as a black semi-dress sporran.
*Some tartans do have additional charges due to their cloth costing more to produce. These tartans may also only be available in 13oz mediumweight cloth, however, all the additional costs are listed within the tartan selection of this product.
Please note: The Saltire & Silver Thistle are specially registered tartans and come with 2 sizing straps. They cannot be fully handmade.
Shirt & Tie not included.
