Length - Height guide (approximately)




  • 22” overall may fit gents 5' 2” - 5' 4” tall

  • 23” overall may fit gents 5' 5” - 5' 7” tall

  • 24” overall may fit gents 5' 8” - 5' 11” tall

  • 25” overall may fit gents 6' 0” - 6' 2” tall

  • 26” overall may fit gents 6' 3” tall and above.

Ex-Hire Kilts are a great purchase. They are made to an extremely high quality so they can handle the rigours of multiple hires.

Our Ex-Hire Kilts are available to buy online but can also be purchased from either our Dumbarton Road or Ayrshire Store. If you are interested in arranging to try on a particular kilt in person feel free to contact either of our stores. This will allow us to ensure the tartan will be available for you to try out and take away.

Waist Take a firm (not tight) measurement at the navel. This is normally 2 inches higher than your hip bone.

Chest Size Take a loose measurement under the arms and over the shoulder blades.

Height The most important measurement! Ensure this is correct.

Kilt Length Measure from the top of the hip bone to the middle of the knee cap. You will need someone to help you take this measurement.
