Traditionally, the Argyll jacket is a daywear jacket, which means it is a more casual than the Prince Charlie jacket. It can be worn with a straight tie for more casual events or a bow tie for more formal events. The jacket is designed with a few destinctive features. Epillettes are present on each shoulder, which have a knotted effect to them. The jacket has silver chrome buttons on the shoulders, pockets and cuffs. The jacket has a single button front and additionally, has guantlet cuffs with buttons running across the cuff, rather than downwards.
Our Argyll jacket and waistcoat is made from 17oz black Barrathea cloth, which is an excellent quality of cloth and one which will last the test of time.
Our Argyll jacket and waistcoat is a well made, fitted jacket and waistcoat, one which offers our customers versatility in their choice of neckwear.
